Delete Your WalkAura Account

Delete In The App

Open WalkAura and go to Settings → Delete account. The app asks twice before scheduling deletion, including a typed username confirmation.

After confirmation, your account is scheduled for deletion. You have a 7-day grace period before the purge runs.

Request Deletion From The Web

If you uninstalled WalkAura, submit this request. We will verify that you control the account before scheduling deletion.

If the request form is unreachable, email support@walkaura.app with your username and contact email.

What Gets Deleted

Deletion removes your character, inventory, gold, streaks, quest and rift history, step history, and account credentials.

Web requests are processed within 30 days. Once verified, the account is scheduled for deletion with the same 7-day grace period used by the in-app flow.

During the grace period, you can cancel only by logging in and pressing Cancel deletion. Logging in by itself does not cancel deletion.

Data Retention

After purge, WalkAura keeps a minimal pseudonymous audit record to evidence that deletion was requested and completed. Web deletion request rows are deleted with the account purge.

Purged accounts may remain in database backups until backup rotation expires. Purged accounts are never intentionally restored from backup.
